How to Add a Facebook Plug-in On your Blog/Site

Sites now are using Facebook to reach their readers. Thousands of business ads out there are publishing their products on the most popular social networking site, that is the Facebook. Even ordinary people are using Facebook to promote their products through lots of pages and letting them customize it so that their costumers will become more interested on their products.


Here are some plug-ins that might interest you.

Like Button The Like button lets users share pages from your site back to their Facebook profile with one click.

Send Button The Send button allows your users to easily send your content to their friends.

Subscribe Button The Subscribe button allows people to subscribe to other Facebook users directly from your site.

Comments The Comments plugin lets users comment on any piece of content on your site.

Activity Feed The Activity Feed plugin shows users what their friends are doing on your site through likes and comments.

Recommendations The Recommendations plugin gives users personalized suggestions for pages on your site they might like.

Like Box The Like Box enables users to like your Facebook Page and view its stream directly from your website.

Login Button The Login Button shows profile pictures of the user's friends who have already signed up for your site in addition to a login button.

Registration The registration plugin allows users to easily sign up for your website with their Facebook account.

Facepile The Facepile plugin displays the Facebook profile pictures of users who have liked your page or have signed up for your site.

Live Stream The Live Stream plugin lets your users share activity and comments in real-time as they interact during a live event.

Here's a simple tutorial on adding a social plug-in on your site/blog.
Let's take the Like Box as an example

1. Create a Page on Facebook (product, business, schools... etc)
2. Go to you Page and Edit Info.
3. Under Basic Information, edit the Username of you page (You need at least 25 fans to be able to edit it)
4. Now, Go to this site  https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like-box/.
5. Fill in the required information. Remember the page should at this format   https://www.facebook.com/USERNAME.
6. Customize it so that it will fit on your blog/site.
7. Done! Now GET CODE.
8. Copy the code under IFRAME.
9. Go to your Blogger account.
10. Click DESIGN and LAYOUT.
11. Add Gadget and Select HTML and paste the code. DONE!

Have you seen the recent changes on Blogger's Interface/Dashboard?
Do you have a difficulty using it, and instead of using blogger as your free domain hosting site, you are trying any other hosting sites. You don't have to worry no more, actually, the new blogger interface is friendlier than the old one.


For a simple tutorial, here is a tour. I hope it will help you a lot.


This is the new look of blogger interface.

Select any Blog on your list that you wanna edit. 
This will be the new look of your blog's overview.

Under POST, you will see the list of posts you made or create a new post.

If you wanna create a separate article, click PAGE and click NEW PAGE.

To manage questions and other inquiries on your pages or posts, just click COMMENTS.


STATS, see the traffic sources and the number of page views on your site.

LAYOUT, add gadgets on your site.

To edit the CSS code of your site, just go to TEMPLATE.

To change the name, description, URL and formatting of your site, go to SETTING.
